Sacramento Graphic Design
"Todd" came in to our office after a friend of his finally finished the graphic design work on his logo. He had been waiting for several weeks so he could order his business cards, postcards, and brochures, and was nearly jumping out of his boots with happiness that his graphic design was accomplished. He handed his CD to our graphic design team and sat down with one of our representatives in our Sacramento office to get his order written up.
Only about two minutes had passed when the graphic designer walked back up front and put the disc back down. He explained that whoever he had used to do the graphic design on his logo for his Sacramento business had only provided a flattened gif and it would not be resizable without a severe loss in quality.
Flattened images are basically when a graphic designer takes a logo or product and turns it into a jpeg or gif file. This means that the size of the logo is preset and cannot be changed. This is especially hard on our Sacramento graphic design team as most of the time, graphics are not large enough to transfer over to quality printing.
Todd got on the phone with his graphic designer who lived just south of Sacramento and told him that he needed a different file type. The graphic designer was only able to produce the logo in an office program and so he had saved it out as an image. This meant through all of his waiting, all he had accomplished was giving our Sacramento graphic design team the look of the logo he wanted. Though this saved him money on design, he was still put back further than he would have been if he would have only come to our design specialists first.
Finding a Sacramento graphic design team who is able to give you your design so that is able to be utilized on a wide variety of products will save you time, money, and headache in the long run, so when choosing your Sacramento graphic design company or person, be sure they can meet the needs of your expanding business.
